ABOUT ABOUT

A legal workshop presented by Penn Law’s Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic

Whether you’re currently an entrepreneur, or aspiring to be one, this lecture style pro bono event will familiarize you with important entrepreneurial legal issues.

Professors Praveen Kosuri and Bernice Grant from Penn Law’s Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic will be bringing their class to NextFab on April 1st. Students will share their hands-on experience working one-on-one with clients and guiding their clients through a myriad of early-stage entrepreneurial legal issues relating to employment law.

Hiring, Managing, and Firing a Workforce – This session will cover employment laws, employment agreements, non-competes, intellectual property assignment agreements, and more. Attracting Talent without Breaking the Bank – This session will cover how cash-strapped entrepreneurs can use equity compensation, deferred compensation, interns, independent contractors, and more to attract and retain talent without breaking the bank.

Each topic will include plenty of time for questions.  The event is free and open to all.
